SIEGE 2008 - Special Message From GGDA President

Atlanta, GA - October 1, 2008 - We're just a few days away from what I like to call "the biggest game industry party on the east coast". But, it's not all about parties. Let's forget for a moment about the CCP Opening Night Party on Friday night. And, let's forget about the Microsoft Halo 3 Competition on Saturday morning and the Computer Arena Rock Band 2 Jam Station. Don't give one moment's thought to the awesome Bit Brigade Concert Performance on Saturday night. And, let's totally forget about the various companies hosting Suite Parties and the VIP Party on Saturday night.

No sir, let's talk about those little opportunities for education, career growth, networking and collaboration that we'll try to sneak in there when you're not looking. The opening plenary session with speakers Rich Taylor (ESA), Blake Lewin (TBS), and Asante Bradford (Georgia) is a good example. Or, we could mention our inaugural Pitch Panel event that will connect our companies and investors together.
